Star Wars Replica Lightsabers

Star Wars Replica Lightsabers

Who can forget the first time they saw the epic battle between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader? Who can forget the whirling hum of lightsabers as the two adversaries faced off against each other in George Lucas’ epic space drama? Whether you saw that scene more than thirty years ago or just yesterday, you know the thrill that you felt imagining that you too could have your very own Star Wars Lightsabers.

The lightsaber was first created by George Lucas. He wanted to create a weapon that would make the Jedi stand apart from the common rabble, both Rebels and Imperial troopers alike. So he created a light sword, thinking that this weapon would help create a sense of mysticism and an arcane quality to the order. Like the Crusaders of old, the light sabers became a symbol for the Jedi which represented their oath to uphold justice and peace throughout the galaxy.

Of all the weapons that appear in the 6 Star Wars movies the one that most technophobes or aficionados of this series will want is a Lightsaber.  Although over the years toy companies have produced what they considered to be reasonable copies of them.  However, this all changed with the introduction of the Star Wars FX Lightsabers.

Certainly for those who like to dress up as the characters from these movies such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Princess Leia.  Now they have found a weapon that enables them to truly take on the role of their favorite character from the films and compete in close combat fights.

However, the Star Wars FX Lightsabers do cost considerably more than those that you may have seen when the first movies came out.  But what you must realize is that not only do these look like real weapons but they sound like them as well.

The first models that were produced are based around the Lightsabers used by Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Yoda each one of them has a glowing blade that ignites with the same power-up and down effects as seen in the movies.  Also, the sound effects that emanate from these are the same authentic sounds heard in the movies as they have been digitally recorded from them.

Each one of these Lightsabers comes with four motion sensors that control not just the sound effects, but the power up and down effect, the idle hum, and the clash.  Also, they all come with metal hilts that not only look like the ones in the movies but feel like a real Lightsaber as well and are permanently attached to the actual blade and both are very durable and sturdy.

Although the extendable lightsaber we mention above have proven extremely popular since the release of the last three Star Wars movies the Darth Maul, Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi ones have proven popular as well.  Certainly, many people are now purchasing the Darth Maul Star Wars FX Lightsaber as it comes with the double blade as seen in the movie.  When this one is delivered to your home it needs to be assembled first but this is a very simple task.  You just take both of the blades and attach them to the connecter provided.

Whilst the new Obi-Wan Kenobi FX Lightsaber is very similar to the ones that we mentioned previously.  However, this now comes with five motion sensors for you to control the various sound effects that it has the additional one of them being swing.  Also, the lighting effects that are realistic to those you will see in the movies are caused by a set of 64 super bright LEDs that are strung together and that light up in order within the blade.

Now you can have your very own Star Wars Force FX Lightsabers, modeled after the lightsabers featured in George Lucas’ Star Wars Epic series of movies and books. Each blade is modeled after a character’s blade in the Star Wars series. You can choose from a variety of different styles. You can carry Anakin Skywalker’s blue blade, as seen in Revenge of the Sith. Maybe you want to hold the green blade of the diminutive Jedi master, Yoda. Perhaps you wish, instead, to wield Darth Maul’s battle damaged red blade. Sold with a special piece to connect two blades, you can transform your one blade into a double-bladed lightsaber with ease.

Each Force FX blade features state-of-the-art technologies which make this lightsaber a true work of art and an amazing replica of the weapons on the big screen. Motion sensors can detect objects that they are nearing, or being put into contact with. The Force FX lightsaber produces digital sound effects from the movies to create a fully realistic sound and feel to your blade. When you take up your lightsaber and touch the button on the hilt, your blade will power up and begin to hum just like the ones in the movies. And when you are not using it, you can store your blade on its very own custom-designed display stand.
