Paralyzed kitten who survived dog attack seeks forever home

Mankato, Minnesota — A paralyzed kitten named Sweet Pea is getting a second chance at life.

He was to be placed in a Twin Cities shelter after a dog attacked his litter and paralyzed him. but cannot use its hind legs.

Luckily for Sweet Pea, his foster parents volunteered to take him in.

“He has a sad story, but I knew it wasn’t over yet. He’s fine and sweet. I know there’s a family out there that’s right for him,” said Sweet Pea’s foster parent. “He has given me and my children so much. He has taught me that disability doesn’t have to bring us down. Zins added that since Sweet Pea is still young, she is exercising and stretching daily as her leg movement may recover.
