1 dead, 4 injured in shooting in Phoenix, Arizona

The latest mass shooting in Arizona occurred around 2 a.m. local time when police were called to a residence near 46th Street and McDowell Road to report the shooting. Phil Krynsky and his Phoneix police called it “chaos.”

Firefighters who arrived at the scene said a man in his early 40s had died at the scene. Police are waiting to notify his next of kin before releasing his identity, according to the release.

The fire department rushed three people, a woman, a girl and a man, to a local hospital.

The girl suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound, but the man and woman had non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, Release said. A fourth victim, a man, arrived at the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital, but his injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.

Detectives later discovered that there had been a fight between several men during a late-night party before gunshots were heard.

“During the fight, one of the men involved pulled out a gun and fired multiple times into the crowd as they tried to flee. was being held down by witnesses.”

According to the release, the suspect remains in the hospital and it is unclear when he will be discharged.

The shooting is still under investigation.
