Mayor Eric Adams condemns Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s ‘unimaginable’ treatment of immigrants as second bus arrives in New York City

Adams greeted the 14 immigrants and said the city was supportive and caring. The immigrants then boarded a taxi whose driver took them to their final destination free of charge.

Adams said many of the immigrants didn’t want to come to New York City and asked to go to other destinations, but weren’t given the option.
