Local Churches Help Lead by Example Through Operation Restoration Father-Son Workshops

Mobile, Alabama (Straw) – Local churches are setting a good example and helping to spread positivity among young people in their communities…

PrayerHouse Ministries in Mobile held a father-son workshop to show young men the importance of working and how to be more productive.

The group of boys were able to go to 15 different stations and see demonstrations by different businessmen from all walks of life.

With the recent rise in gun violence and soaring crime rates, Reverend Billy King believes events like this can help make the positive impact young men need.

“We have killed so many young boys, many of them under the age of 25. This is what we have to do and they are dying and we need to do it urgently. There is,” said King.

“We want to keep doing this. We want to keep in touch with them every day, not just meet them once.”

This is the second time the event has been held, and King said he hopes to hold it every four months.

He encourages other faith-based groups and organizations to hold similar events to support this cause.
