“We are at the critical point of our country,” Taddeo told the station. “And frankly, I’m not going to stand by the sidelines and go there to fight, especially after seeing them in Buffalo and Yuvarde.”
Tadeo’s transition to parliamentary races recruits quality candidates to challenge Republican U.S. Congressman Maria El by La Salazar, who is likely to be one of Florida’s most competitive house races in the mid-cycle. It brings peace of mind to the Democratic Party for the People who couldn’t do it. Former TV caster Salazar won the 2020 victory over incumbent Democrat Donna Chareira in an election that saw President Joe Biden carry the district.
The new parliamentary map, backed by Governor Ron DeSantis, gives Republicans a slight advantage in the district, but it remains the most closely divided state in the state.
The 27th Parliamentary District extends from Miami to the community south of the city, including the Cuban-American Little Havana District and Miami Beach.
Tadeo launched the Governor’s campaign last October and soon began to differentiate itself as the only color candidate in the race. Mr. Tadeo said he has the unique qualifications to help the Democrats regain the Spanish-speaking voters who flocked to President Donald Trump and other Republican candidates in 2020 as Latina.
However, Tadeo was unable to gain traction outside her base in South Florida, and Charlie, a former Republican governor and Democratic candidate in 2014, was two more established candidates in the primary elections. -Mr. Nikki Fried, the only Democrat currently elected throughout the state of Florida, was much more appreciated for his contributions to the campaign by US Congressman Christo and Agriculture. Tadeo’s campaign was also hampered by her work as a state senator, and she had to spend much of her first few months of the year in Tallahassee while Congress was open.
With Tadeo’s exit, the race is now centered around Christ and Fried, and is becoming an increasingly fierce contest to face DeSantis in November.
