A Florida man was killed in a possible crocodile attack while looking for a frisbee on the lake

Officials said the victim, identified by authorities as 47-year-old Sean McGuinness, was found by bystanders walking their dogs early Tuesday morning along the coastline of Lake Taylor in Largo, Florida. Largo is just outside Tampa, Florida.

Investigators believe that one day the crocodile attacked him, the victim was looking for Frisbee. “It was clear that McGuinness suffered a lake crocodile-related injury while the coroner identified the exact cause of death,” the release said.

According to Taylor Park’s manager, McGuinness was known to go to the park frequently, ignoring the “no swimming” sign posted and entering the lake, officials said.

Witnesses told detectives that McGuinness was known to sell the disc back to people in the park, and McGuinness was found within a few feet of the underwater disc.
