Fleeing Alabama prisoners and prison officers are detained

Information from the public led to the arrest of Vicky White and Casey White in Evansville, Indiana, said Rhodedale County Sheriff Rick Singleton.

Chip came on Sunday night, Singleton said.

“This was a very long, stressful and rewarding week and a half,” he said.

He said the pair was at the hotel and then vehicle tracking took place. Sheriffs said the pair would be returned to Alabama for prosecution.

“She has some answers to give us,” Singleton said of Vicky White.

The sheriff said there was no evidence that anyone else was involved.
