Learn More About Freddy Wexler
Wexler’s career took off as an A&R intern for Sony Music, where he recognized the talent in an unknown artist, Stefani Germonatta, who he predicted would be “the next Madonna.” Germonatta, who Wexler worked with on early demos, rose to fame as Lady Gaga. Wexler’s accomplishments include contributing to 8 Billboard #1s and having his own Songbook on Apple Music.
The song “Stuck with U,” co-written by Wexler and performed by Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, reached #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and shattered streaming records. Wexler, along with others, donated their fees from the song, raising $5 million for families of first responders. Wexler also wrote the global hit “Be Kind” for Halsey and Marshmello and the only original song in Emily in Paris, “Mon Soleil.”
His work extends beyond the recording studio, with music featured in various films and television shows including Fifty Shades, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, Grey’s Anatomy, The Bachelorette, Wimbledon, and Emily in Paris. Wexler is the founder of The Brain Music, a comprehensive music company whose catalogue features songs by Chance the Rapper, Alicia Keys, and Dierks Bentley.
