To solve this problem, Jucer has developed J1772 to Type 2 and Type 1 to Type 2 adapters that make it easier for EV owners to charge their vehicles regardless of the charging station’s port type.
Understanding The Different Types Of Charging Ports:
Before delving into the J1772 to Type 2 and Type 1 to Type 2 adapters, it’s essential to understand the different types of charging ports that are commonly used in the EV industry.
Type 1: Type 1 charging ports, also known as SAE J1772, are commonly used in North America and Japan. The port features five pins, two for power, two for communication, and one for the ground.
