The Galaxy S20, S21, Note20, and the Z Fold2 and Z Fold3 devices get the night portrait mode, in which the device uses the telephoto camera with the night mode software, so brighter photos can be taken even in low light conditions, with a blurred background.
The Galaxy S21 series (including the S21 FE), the Z Flip 4G and 5G, the Z Fold2, and the Z Fold 3 are expanded with improved and added auto-framing: the essence of this is that up to 5 meters in front of the phone standing people, even ten at a time, the camera keeps in focus and can follow them. On the mentioned devices, the automatic focus will also be used during video calls, and also in the Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat applications, so after the update, you can theoretically take better-quality videos or pictures with these applications.
The S20-series, S21-series, Note20-series, and all Z-series devices (except the first Fold) get improved effects for video calls. With this feature in the Duo, Google Mert, Knox Meeting, Messenger, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Zoom, Webex, BlueJeans, and KakaoTalk applications, the user gets more control over the phone’s camera, microphone and the background displayed in the call. In addition to the mentioned models, the function will also arrive on the S10 series, S10 Lite, Note10 series, and Note10 Lite in the first half of 2022.
In addition to the above, the Z Fold3 gets extra functions at a nominal Samsung price: Expert RAW is also available here from the Galaxy Store, and the telephoto camera can also be used in the Pro mode of the Camera application.
