I never thought I would move from the beaches of California to the snow-covered plains of Minnesota, but that is exactly what I did a few months ago. It has been an exciting experience so far. The winters here are very cold, and the summers are pretty short. However, I have found some things I like about living in Minnesota. For example, the people here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and there is always something to do (even in the winter). About Minnesota
Minnesota’s winters can be brutal, with temperatures dipping below zero degrees Fahrenheit. However, the summers are pretty mild, with temperatures rarely reaching above ninety degrees. In addition to the weather, you should know a few other things about Minnesota before moving here. For example, the cost of living is relatively low, and plenty of job opportunities are available. The people here are also amiable and welcoming, making adjusting to Minnesota a little bit easier.
Why did I decide to move to Minnesota?
I grew up in Southern California and moved to the Bay Area for college. After graduation, I decided to move to Minnesota. I had never been to Minnesota before, but I had heard good things about it from friends who had visited. Plus, I was looking for a change of scenery. And boy, did I find it!
Minnesota is a very different place from California. The weather is colder, of course, and there are more trees. I’ve only been here for a few months, but I’m already starting to feel at home.
I must admit that I’m still getting used to the cold weather, but I’m enjoying my time here in Minnesota.
How did I pick a long distance moving company?
I did much research online and read moving company reviews. I also asked for recommendations from friends who had moved long distances. In the end, I decided on a moving company that seemed reputable and had good reviews.
Moving is always a big undertaking, but moving to a new state is even more significant. I’m glad I did it, however. Minnesota has been a great place to start my post-college life. Who knows, maybe I’ll even stay here for a while!
