Memphis police detain a 19-year-old boy in connection with multiple shootings and issue a citywide warning to stay in the city

Police tweeted Wednesday evening that residents should be looking for the suspect.

“If you don’t need to go out, please stay indoors until this is resolved.” police tweeted.

At around 9:30 p.m., police tweeted that the area where the suspect was being held was no longer sheltered.

CNN has reached out to police for comment.

Police previously tweeted a photo of the suspect, and another post identified him as Ezekiel Kelly.
